Unfortunately you cannot increase the amount of oxygen your hemoglobin carries, it is strictly limited to 4, as i remember learning in anatomy. I have beta thalassemia minor (which is the trait) AND i play college volleyball so i know the fatique you are talking about and the frustration of not really being able to do much about it. I really have a "go big or go home" attitude and want to be kick butt of the court. So my question is, Do you guys have any advice or information on other things I can do to help out my situation? ![]() Used it last Saturday, only took two caps because I was worried what it may do to me. My thought process is, if I can get more oxygen in my system, it would help me keep going. Last Saturday I played from 9AM to around 5PM. Here's the kicker, I compete in doubles sand volleyball. Hemoglobin is the substance in your red blood cells that allows them to carry oxygen and not having enough oxygen in my blood stream and that causes me to be fatigued. ![]() It causes me to have low hemoglobin and fewer red blood cells. What that means is, I am hemoglobin deficient.
